Cox Insurance is a family-owned and operated, independent insurance agency that has been serving the Northwest since 1955. We offer customized personal and commercial insurance products for residents and business owners in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

As Oregon natives, we feel deeply connected to the Northwest. There are so many things that make Portland a special place.  We all love the amazing dining options and Portland’s close proximity to nature, the mountain and the beach make this area an ideal place to live and work.

Located on NE Glisan and 58th we see many sides of Portland life. For the last several years we have been committed to bring beauty and care to our corner.  Recently, we enlisted local artists, painters and a landscape design artist to help uplift our street corner.

For every referral we receive, we donate $5 to our adopted charity.

Corey Cox
OWNER / AGENT

  • An avid outdoorsman, golfer and amateur farmer, Corey cares deeply about being a good father to his two boys. A perfect day for Corey would entail working around the Troutdale farm or heading out to play golf with friends.

    Clients appreciate Corey’s no nonsense, direct approach to insurance. His 20+ years of experience allow him to efficiently guide people to make coverage decisions that best reflect their needs.

Emily Cox
OWNER / AGENT

  • When Emily transitioned from a teaching career to helping with the family agency, she discovered a passion for business management and helping people. Emily brings an encouraging, proactive, approachable style to her work. Emily cares deeply about taking the time to help clients be educated, at ease and empowered in protecting what they cherish.

    Her perfect day would entail reading a book on the beach, going for a hike in nature with her family and dogs and eating delicious food.

Jennifer Rossi
CUSTOMER SERVICE REP / AGENT

  • Jennifer is hungry for all things food! She loves to bake savories and sweets for her friends, family and her four-legged dog, Tilly.

    Just as much as Jennifer loves food, she always loves spending time outdoors. Her perfect day is loading up the car with her husband and her dog and heading to the Mt. Hood National Forest for a long weekend of camping and mushroom foraging. Jennifer enjoys developing a lasting relationship with our clients and is always ready to solve a billing question.

Alesha Hanson
OUTREACH COORDINATOR

  • Alesha has always enjoyed connecting with people and adventuring in the outdoors. She some of her favorite activities in nature include hiking, skiing and SUP boarding, especially with her husband and two teen boys. She also loves watching her kids play competitive soccer, walking her dog while listening to podcasts, cooking mad amounts of food to feed her family and friends and teaching yoga. Her perfect day is a slow morning with good coffee and a hearty breakfast, a long walk in the woods of Mt Hood and a cozy movie night with her family and pets.

    Alesha cares deeply about her people and community. Her positive, optimistic nature makes her well suited for her role as Outreach Coordinator where she gets to directly connect with clients, create customer appreciation opportunities and help plan community gatherings for Cox Insurance.
